I wasn't sure if I had seen the original Terminator; lucky for me Netflix had it on instant watch. I always remember Arnold as a good Terminator in T2 and was a little fuzzy on T1. You can definitely tell it was made in 1984 with the special effects on display here. The sequel is much better, but for being made in '84 this does a good job of laying out the lore and establishing the characters. Some lines in Salvation I thought were ripped off from Arnold in T2, but they were originally said by Reese in T1. The series makes more sense now and I picked up on a few references to T1 in Salvation.
