I liked Doubt. Great acting from Hoffman and Streep (she's a real bitch in this one). My sister couldn't keep up with the adult dialogue and said she didn't understand what they were talking about. Check it out if you're into 60s era Catholic school dramas.

ReplyDeleteYou should see it for the acting alone. Christina said it was based on a play, which makes sense with most of the scenes being shot in one room at a time with long conversations between characters and that was her main reason for not liking it. I don't see that as a negative.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like an uncomfortable subject, but I agree that Meryl Streep is a fantastic actress, and I like P.S.H. too.
