#32 Milk (2008)

I'm surprised this movie could take place in 2009 and still fit. We should be past all of this. I don't know why Harvey Milk wasn't a mainstream name until this movie was made. If there was such an uproar in the 70's over gay rights you would think we would have all this resolved now. Did everyone go back into the closet when Harvey was killed?

It's pathetic that 30+ years later people are arguing about the same thing and once again taking away others rights, as if it has anything to do with them. Why aren't the Anita Bryants and John Briggs of the world assassinated instead?

  1. We finally saw this movie. It was very moving and educational and we should all be ashamed to be so backward and dumb just 30 years ago. This should have been taken care of 100 years ago.
