Overnight is a documentary that follows Troy Duffy from a total loser working a bar to being heralded as the next big director in Hollywood, then back again to being a total loser. This guy is a grade-A douchebag. He is famous for his script for The Boondock Saints being picked up by Miramax and promptly dropped, eventually making the movie with another company on a much smaller budget with direct-to-DVD release after a limited theater run, being cut out of the profits entirely, his band The Brood being dropped from Atlantic records, and then finally being blacklisted from Hollywood by Harvey Weinstein himself. The ultimate ego, on film, Duffy is often seen telling his bandmates to "Shut the fuck up and do your job, and you might get paid". In the end, Hollywood tells Duffy to shut the fuck up, and we are all better off because of it.
